It is unlawful to park any motor vehicle between the hours of 2:00am and 6:00am of any day on any street with out first obtaining an all-night parking permit. Parking Permits may be obtained at Maywood City Hall between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Thursday. The cost of the permit is $10 dollars. A temporary parking permit may also be obtained for two weeks free of charge.
One year parking permit (valid September 1 thru September 1 of the following year) $10.00
Temporary Parking permit (valid two weeks only) $0.00
Parking Permits are pro-rated throughout the year.
THE SIGNS ARE POSTED ON THE MAIN ENTRANCES OF THE CITY OF MAYWOOD Per ORDINANCE NO. 05-511, Section 1. Article 1 of Chapter 3 of Title 4 of Maywood Municipal Code is hereby amended in the following: An annual permit fee of dollars ($10.00) shall be paid for each all-night parking permit issued. The permit fee shall be prorated on a quarterly basis if issued for less than one year. When issued, the permit fee shall entitle the permit to park one vehicle for the balance of the year, to and including August 31. Where the necessity for the permit continues, such permit may be renewed upon the payment of fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each additional year, or portion thereof, for which the permit is issued. IMPORTANT NOTE: If the maywood address is not on the Driver License, ID or Vehicle Registration belonging to the person who comes in to the City Hall requesting a Parking Permit, they MUST bring a GAS or ELECTRIC BILL UNDER THEIR NAME WITH THE MAYWOOD ADDRESS.
