The City of Maywood Department of Building and Planning is responsible for the approval of plans, inspections of construction work, enforcement of zoning ordinances, and insuring safe and decent housing for the residents of Maywood. Building Inspections may be made the same day as requested if the request is made prior to 9:30 A.M.
Department of Building and Planning hours: 7:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M., Monday through Thursday
Building Permits are only issued Monday - Thursday from 7:30am to 9:30am
