COVID-19 Update: All participants from each food distribution program must practice safe distancing. The food pantry held every Third Thursday of the month we will no longer be distributing number tickets, and the line formation must now begin at 1:00 p.m. If you or someone you know is a Maywood senior resident in need of assistance due to COVID-19, please call City Hall at 323-562-5700.

Senior Food Program

For additional food resources for senior citizens call the Human Services Association Home Delivered Meals  at 562-806-5400, ext. 261 or at 562-806-5400, ext. 227. The closest pick-up site is located in the city of Commerce:

Mobile Food Pantry

The City of Maywood and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank have partnered up to distribute food products to the Maywood Community through its Mobile Food Pantry. There are no requirements for this program and you do not need to be a Maywood Resident. Distributions are on the third (3rd) Thursday of every month and held at:

Food distributed may include the following: canned meats, beans, vegetables and fruits, canned soups, rice, pasta, sauce, grains!

Distribution will begin at 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (or until all food products have been distributed). If you need more information, please call 323-562-5700.

For your convenience, please bring your grocery cart, portable Dollie, or reusable bags to transport the box of food.
