Universal Waste Systems (UWS)

City Council has selected UWS as the new permanent garbage collector for the City of Maywood. UWS has been providing services to the Los Angeles County region since 1986. 

The days of service for residential property will be on either Wednesday or Thursday, view the Maywood Routes by the Day Map (JPG) to identify your pick-up days. Please have your carts out for collection by 6 am.

All bulky item pick-up requests must be made at least 24 hours before your trash pick-up day (Wednesday or Thursday). Please call the UWS customer service line at 800-631-7016.
