What is the Pavement Rehabilitation Project?
The pavement Rehabilitation Project consists of asphalt concrete resurfacing (cold mill and overlay), asphalt slurry seal, concrete curb ramp, curb and gutter, sidewalk replacement at various locations, striping and pavement markings, and related work.
Pavement Rehabilitation Project Fiscal Year 2021-2022 ("COMPLETED")
Onyx was the previous contractor under the Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The work began in November 2020, and construction was completed on May 2021.

Pavement Rehabilitation Project Fiscal Year 2022-2023 ("CURRENT")
The pavement rehabilitation program has started this year. Various streets throughout the City have No Parking signs on both sides of the street. The project will take from August 21, 2023 to approximately November 10, 2023. After the initial two weeks of prep work streets will be completed on a weekly basis unless unforeseen delays occur. The no parking signs are for Monday through Friday during the project. We will be posting the streets on the website the week prior to construction. These dates are provided based on the most current available schedule. These dates may need to be adjusted due to unforeseen factors including material availability, plant shutdown, inclement weather and other factors, which are beyond City’s control. Please monitor the City website for any updates to the project schedule.

Pavement Rehabilitation Guidelines:
Construction of this nature creates a hazardous environment for those persons not related to the construction. Please use extreme caution when traveling on the various streets during construction. We place a high priority on public safety and ask your help with these issues.
Schedule
We will make every effort to maintain access to your property and minimize any inconvenience resulting from this project. We will work between Monday and Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. These dates are provided based on the most current available schedule. These dates may need to be adjusted due to unforeseen factors including material availability, plant shutdown, inclement weather and other factors, which are beyond City’s control. Please monitor the City website for any updates to the project schedule.
Parking Restrictions
There will be "No Parking Signs" posted 72 hours prior to work indicating the specific dates work will be performed on the street. During the hours we are working, access to the public will be limited and we ask the following:
Do not park your vehicles on the roadway
Do not allow water to run on the roadway
Do not allow children to play in the roadway
