Homelessness Resources

The City's goal is to ensure that homeless and impoverished members of our community receive structured, goal-oriented assistance. The intent is to ensure that those in need have the resources to lift themselves to a safe, stable environment without enabling those for whom addiction, crime, and vagrancy are a continuing choice.

In efforts to further the City's commitment to being responsive to the needs of the community, the City has developed and implemented a Homelessness Plan.

The City has identified the following goals for the Maywood Homelessness Plan:

GOAL #1 – Prevent Homelessness

GOAL #2 - Increase access to Affordable Housing

GOAL #3 - Increase income opportunities for those who are experiencing homelessness and those who are at-risk of homelessness

GOAL #4 – Increase access to case management and services

GOAL #5 – Create a coordinated system
