Nationwide Environmental Services 

The City of Maywood has contracted with Nationwide Environmental Services (NES), a division of Joe’s Sweeping, Inc., is one of the largest street sweeping companies in the nation. Joe Samuelian started the company in 1968, and created a company that has served over 50 municipalities throughout California. The company’s success lies in its mission statement: to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction with quality services using state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly technologies. By implementing this mission statement to every service provided, NES has not only created a cleaner environment, but has also inspired the true beauty of every municipality to shine.

Sweeper Do's 

• Do make sure to move your vehicle and obey all street sweeping postings.
• Do communicate with your neighbors so everyone does their part.
• Do report illegally dumped items.
• Do remove trash receptacles.
• Do report low hanging trees to Public Works.

Sweeper Dont's

• Don’t gather debris into piles or try to assist the sweepers.
• Don’t ignore street postings
• Don’t blow yard clippings onto street.
• Don’t add water to street sweeping debris
• Do report low hanging trees to Public Works.
